SPONTANEA convivium performance

“Agrabah is an association made up of the parents of autistic children which was set up in 2002 in the Casa di Gello in Pistoia, where an experimental project for the ‘Work Training for a future Farm Community’ has been launched for adult users. Over the days I spent there, the Agrabah users prepared 15 kilos of bread dough to which I added a mixture of chopped wild herbs gathered in the grounds of Casa di Gello.”

Today 139 years ago, on 4 February 1883, Vincent van Gogh wrote to Anthon van Rappard from The Hague:

“As to the lithographs, the one of the chap sitting on a basket slicing his bread is a failure. When it was being transferred to the stone, the upper half came out all blotted and I could only partly correct it with the scraper.”
